This piece, ‘Stay’ is a sweet piece from the new series. Depicting an abstract body female form holding a sleeping cat in a moment of tenderness. The viewer is invited to read the narrative and emotion of the piece to consider a meaning personal to them.
Hand Crafted
Hand built with a warm textured clay, then fired to high temperatures for durability, and to give the colours a beautiful antiquated effect.
Unique Design
The sculpture is shaped by hand, then finished with coloured clays that I blend here in the studio. Each piece is unique.
Approximately 28cm long
This sculpture has been added as a second and reduced by 50% due to hairline cracks in her hair which appeared during firing and have been repaired.
