The Creature Collection evolved in such a delightful, curious and creative exploration of the sculptural form, with lots of emphasis on character and narrative within each piece.
Culminating in an exhibition in late 2023 titled ‘Into the Woods’ this piece, ‘Love Fox Set’ was capturing a moment of intimacy with the body language of our 2 characters, leaning in during a quiet conversation.
Hand Crafted
Hand built with a warm textured clay, then fired to high temperatures for durability, and to give the colours a beautiful antiquated effect.
Unique Design
The sculpture is shaped by hand, then painted with underglazes and clay slips which I blend here in the studio. I decorate with intricately carved line work in the Sgraffito method. Each piece is unique.
