Hand Building Class ~ Useful Things ~ Sunday 8th February
I am so happy to be offering a workshop which explores the craft of hand building with clay. This class is a brand new format and I am excited to share it.
THIS CLASS
Sunday 8th February
2-4pm
Who this Class is for;
Whether you are an absolute beginner to clay, or have dabbled a little before, this class is to teach some foundation techniques to help you create something both beautiful and useful.
What we do;
Participants will be given a gorgeous clay which is both easy to use, and creates a stunning finish once glazed white at stoneware temperatures.
We will start with a simple step by step tutorial, as I teach you some of the key things you can use as you go forward.
Following that, you are free to make an item or 2 which you would love to have in your home. Useful Ceramic things which are commonly requested are;
Ceramic Hooks
Butter Dish
Soap Dish
Spoons
Spoon Holder / Spoon Rest
The beauty of Ceramics is that there are so many options!
As a designer and lover of fusing functionality with beauty, I will be here to help each person extend their skill set to make something to love for a long time.
All pieces will be glazed and fired for you at my Kilcarnup Studio to collect once ready.
