Clay & Campfires Workshop ~ Saturday 30th May

$95.00

I am so happy to be revisiting workshop which is all about celebrating some of the best things to be found in the cooler Winter Months. Join me under the trees around a beautiful outdoor fire, to sip a delicious warm drink and be guided to make and decorate a couple of lovely clay pieces.

THIS CLASS

Saturday 30th May

2.30-4pm

Who this Class is for;

Whether you are an absolute beginner to clay, or have dabbled a little before, this class is to teach some foundation techniques to help you create something both beautiful and useful.

Although the classes are designed for adults, older children who can be confident enough to be largely unassisted in a directed activity are welcome to join. Not suitable for young children due to the open fire central to the class.

What we do;

Participants will be given a gorgeous clay which is both easy to use, and creates a stunning finish once glazed white at stoneware temperatures.

We will start with a simple step by step tutorial, as I teach you some of the key things you can use as you go forward.

Following that, you are free to make up to 3 small pieces, and decorate them if you would like to. Some nice items you can make with the foundation skills are;

  • Cups

  • Bowls

  • Spoons

  • Little animal sculptures

The beauty of Ceramics is that there are so many options!

All pieces will be glazed and fired for you at my Kilcarnup Studio to collect once ready, or posted for a fee.
